AN AUSTRALIAN MEETS ENGLISH COUNTRY HOUSE WEDDING!

International wedding alert!

Sarah and Michael had guests flying in from all corners of the globe for their wedding here on the Isle of Wight at Appuldurcombe House. New York, Thailand  and of course Australia (the groom hails from those sunny shores) were amongst some of the many places that people travelled from to show their love for this amazing couple and to witness them get wed.

Sarah and Michael live in Australia but chose this tiny corner of the world to get married and they couldn't have picked a better day or place to do the deed, sunshine was on order all day and Appuldurcombe looked beautiful decorated with fresh flowers and vintage touches by local suppliers (see at the end for details).

I had such a good time photographing  a fantastically happy bunch of people and was made to feel so welcome, I must add a special mention to Susan Mc Aviney who took pity on me in the heat and brought me out a pint of wine!  Bless your heart, I couldn't drink it as I was driving but I have never wanted to glug down a drink as much in all my life, you are a star!
